HoverScope Aerial Imaging — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by HoverScope Aerial Imaging (“we,” “us,” “our”).
By booking or using our services, the client (“you,” “your”) agrees to the following:

1. Booking & Scheduling

  • All bookings must be confirmed by email, message, or written agreement.

  • Dates and times are subject to availability.

  • A project overview (location, purpose, requirements) must be provided before the shoot.

2. Weather & Flight Conditions

  • Drone flights are subject to safe weather and legal flight conditions.

  • We may delay, reschedule, or cancel flights due to:

    • High winds

    • Rain, snow, fog, or low visibility

    • Airspace restrictions

    • Safety concerns

  • If rescheduling is required due to weather, no additional fees apply.

3. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the booking incur no fee.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a partial fee to cover preparation and travel.

  • No-shows may be charged the full booking rate.

4. Flight Permissions & Safety

  • All flights are conducted according to Transport Canada regulations.

  • We may decline flights if:

    • Crowds are present in restricted areas

    • Buildings, people, or hazards pose safety risks

    • The client requests illegal or unsafe flight operations

  • Final flight decisions rest with the drone pilot.

5. Property Access

  • The client must ensure property access on the scheduled date.

  • If access is blocked or delayed, additional fees may apply.

  • For real estate shoots, the property should be clean, staged, and ready.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed.

  • Accepted payment methods: cash, cards

  • Late payments may incur additional charges.

7. Deliverables & Turnaround

  • Standard delivery times:

    • Photos: 24 hours

    • Videos: 48–72 hours

    • Mapping projects: 2–4 days

  • Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.

  • Final media will be delivered digitally via download link or online gallery.

8. Revisions

  • Minor adjustments (lighting, colour correction, cropping) may be included.

  • Major edits, re-shoots, or structural video changes may incur extra fees.

9. Rights & Usage

  • HoverScope retains copyright ownership of all media unless otherwise agreed.

  • Clients are granted a royalty-free license for personal or commercial use.

  • Media may not be sold, redistributed, or licensed to third parties without permission.

  • HoverScope may use produced media for promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

10. Liability

  • HoverScope is fully insured for drone operations.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by:

    • Weather

    • Legal restrictions

    • Airspace rules

    • Client preparation issues

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring the environment is safe and accessible.

11. Privacy

  • We do not intentionally film people without consent unless in public areas where permitted.

  • Private or sensitive locations require the property owner’s permission.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By booking with HoverScope Aerial Imaging, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
