Cancellation & Weather Policy – HoverScope Aerial Imaging

At HoverScope Aerial Imaging, we are committed to providing safe, professional, and high-quality drone services. Due to the nature of drone operations, weather conditions and scheduling changes can impact flights. This policy outlines the procedures for cancellations, rescheduling, and weather-related delays.


1. Booking & Confirmation

  • All drone shoots must be confirmed via email, message, or written agreement.

  • Clients should provide project details, location, preferred date/time, and access instructions.

  • A booking is considered confirmed once the client receives confirmation from HoverScope.


2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 24 hours or more before the scheduled shoot: No fee applied.

  • Cancellations less than 24 hours before the scheduled shoot: A partial fee may apply to cover pilot preparation, travel, and scheduling.

  • No-shows: Full booking fee may be charged.

  • Event reschedules: Must be requested as early as possible; fees may apply depending on timing and pilot availability.


3. Weather-Related Rescheduling

  • Drone flights are subject to safe weather conditions as per Transport Canada regulations.

  • We may delay or reschedule flights due to:

    • High winds

    • Rain, snow, or low visibility

    • Fog or other unsafe flight conditions

  • There is no extra charge for weather-related rescheduling.

  • HoverScope will communicate promptly if a flight cannot proceed as scheduled due to weather.


4. Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure the property or event location is accessible and safe for drone operations.

  • Provide accurate location details and any special instructions in advance.

  • For events or multiple-location shoots, coordinate access and safety precautions with staff or organizers.


5. Rescheduling Procedures

  • To reschedule, clients should contact HoverScope via email or phone.

  • We will offer alternative dates and times based on availability.

  • Confirmed reschedules replace the original booking date.


6. Emergency or Unexpected Events

  • In case of emergency, unforeseen circumstances, or regulatory restrictions, HoverScope reserves the right to reschedule or cancel flights.

  • Clients will be notified immediately, and alternate dates will be provided when possible.


7. Acceptance of Policy

By booking with HoverScope Aerial Imaging, clients acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation & Weather Policy.
